brave-student-cuts-off-his-hair-to-assist-his-stepmother’s-battle-with-cancer-in-napton

In support of his stepmother who is battling cancer in Napton, a courageous young man has cut off all of his hair.

As Kelly Best, 25, receives treatment for synovial sarcoma, Morgan Walther-Gaby, 11, has helped fund £2,000 for Sarcoma UK.

At the weekend, the hair was shaved at the Red Lion in Horley.

“The evening was extremely nice, with a lot of people showing out to support Morgan,” said Morgan’s mother, Katie.”

Jake Newton, a barber from Newton’s Barbers in Banbury, traveled to Horley to perform the head shaving, and they were excellent hosts.

Also, a raffle was arranged to raise pounds.

To quote Morgan: “I want Kelly to understand that she’s not doing well if she loses her hair from the chemotherapy.

His dad Matt Gaby, who runs The King’s Head in Napton, also shaved his head and helped raise another £1,000 at his pub.
